I am from the Bahamas and I recently read your article in the Tribune on the miraculous recovery of your son. I paid close attention and noticed the foundation that you posted so here I am. I am currently home recovering from my third bowel obstruction. My story isnt extra-ordinary although my friends beg to differ. My first came whilst going through a painful divorce. The pain is excruciating and I have had to raise my kids by myself when i get back home since there was noone to come home too. I am still struggling everyday financially yet thankful that God has bought me this far. I love to write and I was more inspired from the two wonderful ladies I met on my last hospital stay, which are the characters in a book that I am writing. One who is battling an unknown illness she is young and has the faith of Job. She is painfull and dont know what will become of her health yet she is still planning her wedding. I pray the day that I can see her walk down the aisle and give God all honour and glory. And the other lady who have had 8 surgeries and made me laugh through all my pain. In fact we laughed so much they refused to give me pain meds because they said I was fine. We bonded and nothing the Devil could of done.He tried to bring us down physically but God brought us up spiritually. I dont have time to dwell on the negative but embrace the positive that has come out of all that I have gone through and experience. Yes I am tired and was told there is no known cure or anything that can be done to prevent my obstructions. But each time I leave I tell the doctors I wont be seeing them again, and then I end up coming back. My faith is in knowing that one day God will honor my prayer request and heal my body totally until then what is done is to bring honor and glory to His name. (because I would'nt have met these wonderful ladies or not have a praise report to give).

Thank you for sharing your story!!! It is a powerful story of faith courage, strength and endurance. I look forward to reading your book when you are finished. I know that your story will help people who are going through similar situations, but it also inspires all as you overcome and become… blessings and love,
Tina
